BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER

The Murray River at Murray Bridge, South Australia. Due to bad water management at Federal and State level a few years ago during the worst drought in 100 years, many farmers who relied upon this source for irrigation did not receiving proper water quotas even though the river was in flood. As a result of the long term drought and the quotas, many farmer's faced bankruptcy and left the land. [link]
